Parish Clerk – Yvonne Grimshaw-Baker

The clerk is a paid officer, also known as the ‘Proper Officer’, and is the Responsible Finance Officer of the council.  The clerk takes the minutes of meetings, and collates reports and audits – but the clerk is not elected, and does not vote in council meetings.
The clerk is the first point of contact for the public, and can also pass on concerns to councillors.
