Parish Council Records from before 2000
Information about how to access Parish Council Records from before 2000
An project is currently ongoing to convert all our historical files to electronic ones which can then be made available on this parish council website. The Clerk can then send all the paper copies to Staffordshire Records Office.
Draycott Parish Council has over 100 years of history, being inaugurated in 1901, so records go back a long way.
Minutes of meetings of parish councils are often held at Staffordshire Record Office; and indeed many of the older documents of Draycott Parish Council have been transferred there already.
For the moment, post-2000 documents are still held in a house in the neighbourhood, so, if you have an enquiry about such records, please contact the parish council.
